    Metal rods too long

    I received this product very promptly. However, I had significant problems replacing the bushings on the front leaf spring. The problem turned out to be that the metal rods supplied with these bushings are approximately 1/8" to 1/16" too long. I had to re-use the existing metal rods with the new bushings and even then it took approximately 5 hours to replace the bushings in the front leaf spring and the bottom of the Control Arm.

    DIY under the shade tree

    Excellent replacement for the Precedent. I found a good U-Tube about the procedure on the net and the parts fit perfectly. I had some difficulty removing the old bushings but found that after total removal of the rack and pinion box everything went smoothly. After a drive with the cart I found I needed to adjust the toe-in. After that the cart was tight and steering was smoother than it has been in at least five years. Only time will tell how well they will hold up. My guess is that they will last at least as long as the originals.
