Purchased these 2 rods for fishing off the beach in Dorset. Arrived the following day with express delivery. The rods are really good along with the reels. Very good beach caster and was getting some serious distance with them. First time used them I caught 3 large dogfish and 2 baby congar. Good feeling and response when fish is on. Very capable rod with good fluorescent tip for seeing the bites. The rod stand is good too! For less than £100, you can't go wrong. Highly recommended!

    3 piece v 2 piece

    I frefer the slightly shorter 2 piece rod but having gotten used to the new rod I am very pleased with it. Caught carp up to 8lb today and rod handled it really well.

    Superb Rod.

    Value for money its unbelievable. I've used it on 4 occasions,got to say its my favourite rod. Its lightweight,feels good,handles fish well,on my last session i was catching carp up in water, weights between 2lb to 4lb,no problem at all for this Rod. And it even looks good, more expensive, So well done Shakespeare
