Very helpful ebayer. I was use a karcher and lance to spray my roof every 16 months. It takes a full day to maneuver, set up and spray. This lance attaches to my back pack sprayer and took 90 mins to do same job. Great item, good price, my alternative was pay to have roof sprayed....£600 + VAT so saved steaightvaway. Excellent for lomg-reach spraying jobs at home. It's relatively light but a little tricky to use if used at an angle rather than vertically. Would be even better if the sections could be fixed at interim lengths. When not fully extended, the sections are free to slide in and out. Nevertheless, this has proved an invaluable tool for avoiding use of tall ladders, and has more than paid for itself in enabling me to do jobs I would otherwise have had to pay someone else to do.Excellent for lomg-reach spraying jobs at home. I bought this to use with a back pack sprayer that I use to apply cleaning solutions to gutters & facias etc. On first inspection it appeared ok, the problems started when I attempted to extend the pole to its full length. The coiled hose which comes with the lance does not seem to be long enough to extend to the length of the lance. The second problem is getting each section to stay extended. Dispite pulling each section out as far as possible they keep springing back inside each other. This happens on most sections but is worse when fully extended. Finally the coiled hose that is fitted to the lance is poor quality and does not stay coiled correctly after it has been extended. If you need a long extension for a back pack garden sprayer your options are limited. Overall this is a pleasing product and probably worth the money @ £63 However you should know that the sections will not lock together anywhere apart from full extension. You may imagine there are plastic locking nuts on each extension but you would be wrong, each section is splayed at the bottom /top so that they jam together and that means that if you want to use this as your only lance - holding it at any angle less than horizontal will make all the extensions fly out. Therefore it is only useful either at any extension length above horizontal or fully extended below horizontal. I have successfully shaped a 15mm talon pipe clip to hold it in its shortest length enabling it to be my only lance but I ... The connection threads were the same as two back pack sprayers I own, one a blue and yellow cheap item bought online for approx £15 /20 and another branded expensive one. I seriously doubt that there are more than one manufacturer of these hose thread parts so it should fit on just about any sprayer which you own. Two different nozzle shapes supplied were nice to have but I had to order another set online as I wanted 110 degree spray and also I have added a 12v high pressure pump to the back pack which supplies more pressure than my spindly arms could. Successfully sprayed a roof with moss killer from gutter height and had extension length to spare, In fact the part nearest the ladder was the hardest as it is too close, moving the ladder three times seemed to be the solution.

Extendable sprayer
I bought this so I could spray wet and forget over the roof to kill the bad moss covering the tiles. It looks a bit delicate and easy to twist the pipes so be careful when extending. It did the job well. Trigger stuck open on occasion and had to flick it to stop it spraying but as I said it did the job and hopefully it will next year. Comes with to thread converters so should screw onto most pressure bottles.I bought this so I could spray wet and forget over the roof to kill the bad moss covering the tiles.
