Speaker did not work upon arrival, and I heard something rattling around inside. Opened device up and found the speaker had broken free from its contacts and was loose inside. Probably something that happened in shipping. Repaired the solder and it works just fine now. None of these concerns affected the performance of the device, and overall, I am happy with it. A nice touch is the included English manual.
