    5.7 Hemi Manifold Warpage

    Contrary to the argument zi got from a clown in the service department at the premier Dodge Chrysler Ram dealer in Peabody Massachusetts? The problem here is not "rot", but metal fatigue. The bolts can not withstand the stresses exerted by a big chunk of warped cast iron. Removing your manifold, cleaning up the flanges, and then putting it on a straight edge will reveal all. Broken bolts are best removed by welding a nut into them. I suggest you use MIG process, not flux core. The subject manifold fit well, but it was not easy to install. Some manipulation and centering of the gasket was required. There is a solution I'm sure, but it only took a few minutes to fit up. I suggest you get all the fasteners in, then tighten them down over several passes before coming to your final ...
