Great product, just be careful in the sun
This is a well-made product. I'm using it with an ESDDI flash mounted to a Nikon with a 150-600mm lens. Do be aware that the Fresnel lens can intensify sunlight and burn the mount or your flash. I was driving with the camera on my lap on a sunny afternoon and within a few minutes, noticed a burning smell. Luckily, I realized what was going on before too much damage was done. It melted a small part of the mount. It's scary to think about what could have happened. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do. I had some difficulty getting the mount on my flash but I think that is a good thing because it's not going anywhere.This is a well-made product. Lens cover is softer plastic and makes no noise when it hits the camera body a great plus when your trying to capture birds on camera. A little large for the lens but a small amount of electrical tape snugged it up, overall a great addition to my Cool Pix camera.
