    Especially well-suited for protein determinations

    What I especially like about these very attractively priced urinalysis test strips is the protein panel. It includes specific color changes for "normal", "15 mg/dl", "30 mg/dl" and "100 mg/dl" before transitioning to "300 mg/dl" and beyond. The approximately 21-month expiration date from the day on which these strips were received is also more than reasonable. Many - if not most - other comparable products available here on Ebay include a urine test with a color change that jumps from "normal" to "trace" to "300 mg/dl". Now this is not particularly useful if you may have an issue with excessive protein in your urine (proteinuria) since the normal value for a a random sample of urine is usually considered to be no more than 20 to 30 mg/dl.
