    Garage door deadbolt.

    Bought this as a second deadbolt for my Chamberlain opener which came with one. It does work with a regular style (track) opener but has a short wire as it’s meant to work with a jack shaft style opener. Extend the wire and move one pin out of the way on the motor and it works great.

    Liftmaster dead bolt lock

    The power dead bolt seemed brand new. The wire does not detach from the unit so the other end needs to be plugged into the main garage door opener unit, but that was easy. It works fine.

    Good product, poor manufacturer documentation.

    This is probably one of the better choices for garage door locks, but LiftMaster has virtually no documentation for it on their website. What is the rated voltage? Where should it be mounted? It seems to lock and unlock with 8-12 volts, 1amp, so I am powering it with 12 volts. The included drill template sticker was a nice addition.

    An added level of security

    Had an opener installed in my garage. The installer added the power door lock even though I didn't know there was such an option. Once I saw it I was pretty impressed to the point that I bought two locks to put on two other garage doors. Seems like a good extra level of protection.

    Adds value to garage door

    I had a garage door with this attachment. I thought it came with door. Alas, I was wrong. It's an extra, bought here for less than half of highly inflated list price. Kind of sore it's not included, not to mention its a safety feature......but.
