    Too much torque

    Yes, this impeller is quite a step up from the original on my ZXA 1100 Kawasaki. Maybe I over did it by a little bit? It pulled the motor down to about 6200 rpm’s which seems a little lower than it should be however, it does pull along very well probably better than it was.
