This is the only clutch rear derailleur that works with SRAM 11 speed road. Makes it very useful if you want a clutch option for your gravel or cross bike. I wish they did an xo or lighter version

I converted my bike from a 2x10 setup to single speed with a 32T up front and a 11-42 cassette at the rear. My old SRAM X9 would often let me down during the climbs by either making a lot of noise or getting stuck in the lowest gear. This derailleur has solved all of my issues. It shifts amazingly, runs silent and has never let me down. If you're considering an upgrade and don't want to slash the cash on a more expensive derailleur then for £40 you can't go wrong.

I have to recommend it if you don't want to pay for the more expensive X0 option. However, is it good value? Not really, the rivets wear quickly in muddy conditions making the whole assembly slack and loose, & I've had a few of these That pretty much answers the quality question too. If your shifters are SRAM you have no choice and need an SRAM derailleur but the X0 is so expensive for what it is.

Well built, fast and precise changes and good clutch. I have XO and XX1 on other bikes and the difference is mainly just the weight. Quality of shifting is barely any different
