Nice little bottle, legends are printed on but the fill spout seems to be wrong handed for righties. To fill to the required level one has to fill with the left hand and hold the bottle with the right hand. The top needs to be REALLY tightened down to make it leak proof, I think it’s because the seal is that hard rubber/ plastic stuff but works when tightened hard. Would have preferred embossing for the levels to prevent erasure over time but I dont use it very often so should be OK for me.

    lightweight and strong mixing bottle

    A good heavy thick walled bottle with simple markings for petrol and oil to mix various ratio fuel/oil mix. The screw on top on the bottle I have used does not have the best seal so care is needed when agitating the mixture to ensure even mix.

    Mixing Bottle

    The first time I used the bottle with the fuel mix, it leaked at the screw top even with the cap screwed down as tight as i could make it. I replaced the seal inside the cap and it worked well. Also seeing the level of oil added to the fuel through the bottle could be be better to get an accurate mx.

    Useful for premixing petrol for tools

    Nice strong bottle. Contains 1l of fuel. Marked up in the neck to indicate volume of 2-stroke oil to add for various concentrations etc. But I’m not sure the markings are very accurate as I used a graduated test tube to add the oil and at the right concentration the level didn’t come up to the mark. I don’t know how important it is whether the mix has to be exact or not. If not then this bottle is ok to use the markings. If it is important then I would recommend calibrating your bottle (maybe using water and ink on kitchen scales?) before use.

    Good quality, but not functional..

    Although made of good quality material, it does not function well as a mixing bottle. I found it very difficult to see the level of petrol, particularly at the litre mark. A different shape may make it better or a window to see the fuel level more easily. A good bottle for storage though.
