It does the job!
I tried different brands in the past and they weren't as strong/ bad taste as this one and after washing hands you would have to apply again to be effective. With Mavala you definitely won't be able to bite your nails as it tastes extremely bad! And the taste stays for a couple of days even after numerous hand washings. Also suitable for children who sucks their thumbs.

It works!!!
Our little thumb sucker said she wanted to stop as she started losing her baby teeth (she is 5 3/4 years old). She’s been sucking her thumb in utero (when she was in my tummy)! With the help of this product she stopped within a couple of weeks! Expect that your child will be grumpy when they are in the process to stop thumb sucking and they’ll be grumpy afterwards too; they are losing their comforter!! Be super kind to them, super patient with them, praise them lots and give lots of cuddles, tell them they can do it, and that they are doing well! I am not sure how to rate it. It wasn't appropriate for my daughter as it was too strong for her- she was sick after putting finger into her mouth and could taste it when eating finger food. I guess it will work really well for adults. I bought it as it was described as can be used for children but I believe it's far to strong for the wee ones.

Does what you expect!
Used on my 7 yr old son for whom I haven't cut his nails for at least 6 months. Painted this on and told him it would taste horrible if he continues to nibble his nails. Seems to have done the trick. Its a real shame it can't be matt as he's not so impressed that he looks like he's wearing nail polish but I guess thats the rub!
