Fast delivery and well packaged…. Much cheaper than local chandalry and made of a thicker plastic so pretty robust…. It’s going inside a dorade vent which will protect it from any over the wheelhouse waves….. new legislation on boat safety now states vents are not to be of the closeable variety as they are then classed as no vent at all. As I go to sea having closeable vents is kinda a necessity so I hunted down some second hand dorade vents to protect non closeable vents from waves. Sorted.

I still have to fit this so can't really comment on performance, it seems like it will do the job, though looks like it could break, if left in open position and accidentally stood on from the outside (likely on a boat or barge) however if closed tight would be ok.
