Ordered the tuning box on Friday and came on the Tuesday over the bank holiday, really impressed with the response time and customer service is top notch. Installed it on my 2009 focus 1.6tdci and what a difference it has made, put it on the high performance setting and it gave the car a nice gain in power, no flat patches and doesn't stop pulling through the gears! Turbo lag is a thing of the past and genuinely feels like a turbo petrol car, not waiting for boost to build during gear changes!

Does exactly what it says on the tin.
Fitted this product, very easy to fit, great instructions, took the car out you could feel the difference straight away. More top end power, and more bottom end grunt,and far better fuel consumption. Great product.

Not worth bothering with
I fitted this to my 06 ford focus tdci 1.8, there is definitely an increase in power. But fuel economy is no better than the standard car without the tuning box. I tried it on all settings filled the car up with diesel and noted milage at the next fill up and on some settings it's actualy worse. Not worth bothering with in my opinion.

I followed the instructions (simple) & noticed the extra power imediately, I seem to be getting slightly better mpg but I am tearing around getting the feel of it . I mainly bought this because I tow a caravan and I normally find myself crawling up some steep Devonshire hills , so now I should be able to hold my own. I told my insurance company and they raised my premium by about £100 , I am not bothered about this as it seems a small price to pay for a car that is much more responsive than before. I find myself not having to change gear all that much as the power comes in at much lower revs and pulls away with no turbo lag. I take roundabouts in 4th gear with no labouring and you can feel the push in your back when you put your foot down. I asked my local mechanic if there were any ... I can’t comment on fuel economy yet, but there’s definitely an improvement in power or at least pull away. It was very easy to install, I’m not sure what the IP rating of the box would be, perhaps that could be improved, otherwise a good product and good value

Gave the power boost promissed and now I have what it takes to get ahead in the road. Greatly reduces the turbo lag and the extra power means it can pull in top gear from a much lower speed. Mileage was already better than Ford said but no decrease either with the added power now available. A system that is simple to fit and gives great results even with a high mileage power unit.
