I bought this 8300 board to replace an HP 8200 Elite SFF, because it has USB 3 and I needed faster bus speeds. It is exactly the same form factor, and I was able to swap it without reinstalling Windows or replacing components so that's a huge plus. I7-2600 and DDR3-1333 worked fine. A few driver downloads from HP and all is well.

This motherboard arrived clean and well packed in a static eliminating bag. It is in working condition. Even the CMOS battery is good, which kept the clock setting reasonably accurate. I used the motherboard to upgrade an HP computer from the 6300 model to the 8300, which supports RAID. The board fits perfectly into the 6300 MT case. Intel RAID now is working, a good upgrade for a very reasonable price.

A lightning strike up the road, got my old motherboard through modem/router ethernet cable. I ordered one of these boards. Installation and power up was flawless. It has been running around the clock for 3.5 weeks with no issues..

I bought this because I thought I had a defective motherboard. However, after fighting it for 2 weeks and installing this replacement motherboard, I realized that it was a defective keyboard, not the motherboard that was at fault. The "F" keys on my old Microsoft keyboard were defective, even though the rest of the keys were fine.

If you want to use the original HP8300 case then this motherboard is a must. My original motherboard failed and this used one brought my computer back to life with my original RAM and original i7 3770 processor.
