      worked a lot better than i expected to

      Used this to cut the top off a 200 litre oil drum so it could be used as an incenerater, attached it to a 12v cordless and much to my surprise went through the steel top very quickly and cleanly. unlikely to use again for a few years i guess but a lot cheaper than buying a dedicated nibbler and for me did the job it needed to without drama.

      Tricky to use, but useful to have in the tool box.

      Only just tested them, tricky to use so will need to practice quite a bit before any major project are done. Quality I am not sure about, the hex key on the spanner they provide has already rounded off so that is poor quality. I am not sure how long the nibbler side of the machine will last but you can replace the rod so long as you can get a replacement! Could not see any information regarding the nibbler sizes but they look like two different sizes to me.

      Will do the job adequately with practice!

      It will do the job if you practice with it. The problem being that you have to control the drill and the nibbler at the same time. It is rather wayward until you get used to it. I bought it for a one off job but found a decent pair of tinsnips made a much better and easier job. If you need a nibbler on a regular basis I cannot recommend it, get a bespoke nibbler or tinsnips. The only thing it has going for it was the fact that it was cheap!

      Nibbles well

      It is great for flat sheet. However my application was to cut out an aperture in a container with high sides, this was difficult to do as the “nose” of the tool was not long enough. It would be nice to know If such a product was out there?
