    Wish we bought one years ago!

    Relatively simple to install, took about an hour all in all. Instruction are great and there are some helpful YouTube videos as well. Cannot believe how quick and easy it is to make consistent shots . For years we’ve been temperature surfing with all the faff, wasted water and frustration that comes with that. Now we are knocking out fantastic shots is 1/4 of the time, less water splashing around and great coffees almost every time! Obviously there is still the grind and tamp to think about but the PID has taken all inconsistency of the brew temperature away. Love it.

    Rancilio PID kit fixes issues with the original equipment

    Delivered super fast. It works perfectly, Good installations instructions with even with pictures, One additional item I have not seen discussed is I have had several failures of the brew thermostat that comes with the Rancilio. It begins arching internally when it reaches the temp and the switch opens. This arch trips a GFCI outlet. This kit completely eliminates that part by basing the switch point on a resistance value of the RTD. The actual switch is a solid state relay that is more capable of the switching function.
