The flash is good for bounce but doesn't rotate. For a brand name flash it is 100% compatible with Pentax K1. The only item that Pentax doesn't offer due to camera firmware is the ability to use the flash's IR beam, but rather for some reason on the K1 you can only use the green focus assist light from the camera. For a flash less than $200usd this offers more than 3rd party at same price.

A lot of nice features for such a small product. The buttons are a little too small, but other than that they work pretty well. The door for the battery compartment is somewhat 'iffy'. Also the cheap plastic used on this flash leaves much to be desired.

The AF-360 is a very nice automatic flash. It has more settings than some cameras today. Pros: Extremely efficient flash with excellent automatic features. With a modern Pentax DSLR (K10 requires firmware update from 1.0), you can set your flash to fire wireless using your camera as a master. Flash has built in deflector and diffuser. Con: I have purchased two because the battery door latch lost a small plastic clip which keeps the door shut after being dropped. Since the weight of the 4 AA batteries has enough pressure already, dropping your flash will likely break those small clips forcing you to a tedious tape job in order to use it. Otherwise, the flash is excellent!
Works well with my Pentax K-x. Manual is readily available on-line, With Pentax 18-55 zoom, flash in P-TTL mode, and camera in Manual mode, auto focus, f16, 1/125, it's right for most situations.
