The item itself with 3 solder pads each side make it souch easier to solder a small decoder (in my case Digitrax) to use on a Hornby Terrier which has a very tight space. The 6 pin trailing lead harness plugged in help to ensure the correct wires are soldered in place.

It would have been great value for the money, the quality of the circuit board also looked great unfortunately the condition of the speaker was very poor it crackled. I got in contact with BLW they were very supprsed that the speaker was only crackerling and was as bad as I described, however they were brilliant no fuss no hassle, apologised said it was unusual and offered a refund. I was sent return postage.
