Have been re-pressurizing my boiler regularly for over a year, didn't realise it was the pressure relief valve causing me problems so bought this as a replacement and tackled it myself, haven't looked back and saved me a fortune as the repair man said I'd have to replace the boiler, quality little product thanks very much

Does the job so far. It's hard to get enthusiastic about a boiler component !
It's a pressure release valve for a boiler. So far it has not needed to release any but it scores over the original part that it replaced by closing properly so not allowing air to be sucked back through it into the heating/hot water circuits.

In rating I have rated the whole service and product. The service was very good, item as described and delivered quickly. Ref part, it does the job, difficult to rave about this product as this is the 3rd I have bought on same boiler but I think that speaks more about Glowworm than anyone else. This part is easy to install. If your boiler is losing pressure and you have no leak in pipework and, you see weeping from the overflow then this could be a cheap fast solution. It fitted. If your valve leaks just get a new one; this fits at the lowest point so fills up with crap; the crap sticks on the valve face so it does not seat properly and weeps, hence get a new one . Boiler now works.

Replacement pressure release valve, superb value.
Extremely good value to solve a common problem with combination boilers where the pressure release valve "weeps" and eventually the boiler fails to work due to the operating water pressure being insufficient. Easy to fit within a few minutes.
