      Absolute bargain and an excellent product too!

      I am no expert when it comes to this kind of implement. However, I wanted to sharpen my garden shears, saw this sharpening stone, read the reviews and felt I couldn't really lose at this price. It arrived quickly and I was quite surprised at how substantial it seems. I found it very easy to use and it has done a great job in sharpening the blades of my shears. I am very happy with it and am glad I bought it.

      It's been over 30 years since I used one of these. Excellent tool for sharpening large items, Axes, Chopping Hooks, Brushing Hooks, Scythes, Sickles etc. And you can take it with for sharpening in the "field" Only drawback is if you are clumsy and drop it (Experience form 30 years ago)

      Best sharpener there is

      Best sharpener I have had, including the boat shaped sharpener from the same company and a whetstone I had bought from B&Q. So simple to use. Mine actually arrived broken into 2 pieces in the post, but that means I now have 2 sharpeners. In fact, I have 3 as I first bought one 5 years ago that I keep in the shed. I can now stick one in my fishing tackle bag and have one in the house.
