    Very useful book

    I bought this book because its the text book in a college class im taking. My concentration is human resources and management and this book is perfect. It is not too different from the ninth edition (the latest). Only the examples offered are different. The rest is all the same. As my professor would say: -'same candy but with a different stick'. This book covers everything needed to be a succesful manager and it explains in a clear, precise way. I have no complaints on the book whatsoever and we have covered almost 15 chapters in the class. I have also used as reference for my ethics class and other management courses as 'administrative theory'. I highly recommend this book. Other books are very complicated and are not as thorough as this one is. I also got it way cheaper than retail. ...

    Getting this book on eBay was a Godsend!

    This book is great and was a necessity since need it for my class. I am taking a business management class and the college bookstore, even the publisher ran out of the book and did not have it in stock in time for the beginning of the semester! Since I am on the "condensed semester" track I had no time to waste.

    Good Management Book

    I HAD to read this book for a college course. I wasn't excited to read it but believe it or not it was good. Mary does a great job of explaining management essentials. I would guess that if you are looking at buying this it is for a college class and you have to read it. Buy it for as cheap as you can.

    the book is very hard to read, falls apart easily.

    The book came quickly. I knew it was an international version but I didn't know what an international version was. It will suffice for my classes but I am leary about people seeing me with it because it says on the front cover not for use in the US.

    Management

    What I like about this book is that it hits the key elements that were required for the particular module I was taking. the book give very specific insights into management problems, solutions and strategies. I bought the book because it was required, however it will still on my bookshelf as a permanent addition to my library.
