This 180 Amp rated alternator fit perfectly and works amazingly in my 2009 Subaru Forester which only comes with a 90 Amp alternator from the factory. This means that at idle more electricity is being produced. The increased electrical generation is perfect for those who have two-way radios, additional lighting, winches and various other electronics I their vehicle.
