For the price, it's a good little mixer, easy to assemble with very little knowledge of tools required, the gasket can be fiddly but if you stick it down with a little silicone before placing the top part of the drum this becomes simple, quality of materials are what you would expect for the price but it seems to be sturdy, obviously its only ment for small mixes i wouldn't recommend doing more than half a barrow at a time but, if like me you have lower back problems its 100% easier than by hand

New condition. Difficult assembly instructions. Took ages to get the mixing paddles into the correct position. The mixing drum isn't big enough for more than 2x 4 to 1 mix at once. I had it running all day mixing for laying cobbles without issues. Sounds like a pig grunting. It is portable and tucks away into a shed. Positive points: portable, mixes well. Negative points: difficult instructions, small mixing drum, sounds loud, not good value for money. Yellow drum over black frame, looks cool.

    It does the job

Pretty easy to put together, I guess it took me 40 mins of which 5 mins were spent working out which way around the mixing paddled went. It's easy enough for one other than fitting the sprung handle which needs two sets of hands. It's noisy despite a good layer of grease on the rack but for the home user it's fine, so far it's mixed a couple of tons without problem. Small enough to store in the garden shed.

It's OK for small projects and home users.

It's OK for small projects and home users. I used it for quite big projects in my garden. I can't say that you can use it for years but if you are planing multiple projects and it will take a time because of you are busy, then this is better than hire a tool. I'm suggesting to pay £100 more and buy bigger one.

  • Very practical and compact

Great little mixer. bought it for making a new drive and wall that I am currently doing. Pretty small but more than adequate for the the purpose. If I was doing concreting I would get a bigger model. My only problem is the size of the aperture, can't quite get a shovel in so have to use a spade. Great little mixer, and now I nickname it the pig as it grunts when loaded lol

  • Small but beautifully formed.

Supplied as a kit in a remarkably small but heavy box. Very good illustrated assembly instructions. Parts are unpacked almost in the order that they are needed. Small parts are in clearly labelled bags. You will need flat and cross head screwdrivers and metric or adjustable spanners. Actual assembly is very easy and can be completed by one person although there is one point where a second would be helpful. In use the mixer holds about 2-3 buckets full, enough for household DIY jobs. Mixes mortar or concrete well and can also be used for mixing compost. The drive gear is a bit noisy but works satisfactorily and you will be using it outdoors anyway. There are many similar kits on the market but the yellow and black scheme looks nicer than building site orange.

  • It is what it is for the money!

If you want a mixer to mix a bucketful of cement/concrete it is OK but the quality of the machine is so poor. The running gear is very noisy clanking away due to a poor fit into the drum teeth. It is what it is for the money. For occasional use to mix a tiny load. Not recommended for a large DIY project.
