    Ultimate time saver

If you're not a pro painter or maybe have to spray in less than ideal conditions then you'll sometimes come up against runs, sags, or dust nibs. It's all too easy when sanding down a run to go through the paint layer either side, but by using this little tool you can shave off the high spot with ease. Just by lightly drawing the blade across the surface, you can remove the blemishes then wet sand and buff to a perfect surface. Can save you literally hours. Keep in the pouch when not in use to protect from damage as dropping it onto a hard surface will likely ruin the fine cutting edge.

  • Fantastic piece of kit!!

I would be lost without this little tool. Don't get me wrong, I would rather my lacquering was of the quality that I didn't get a run or sag now and again, but then again we are human and don't paint as perfectly as the robots in the factory. I think of these paint defects as occupational hazards and although not the only method of removing a run this little tool is a must have in every painters tool box. Excellent tool for effectively removing lacquer coat defects dust nibs, lacquer runs and sags.

  • Brilliant for touch-ups

I wish I had had this thirty years ago! All that hassle trying to flatten touch-up blobs without damaging the surrounding paintwork. Well, this is the answer. Just gently shave the touch-up until it is flat with the other paint and then polish. Gives an amazing result with minimal effort and I'm an amateur. Can't recommend highly enough, expensive but worth it.

  • Brilliant peice of kit cuts out most runs and big nibs with ease. Just make sure clear has fully cured on runs before use

  • Works for me.

Definitely worth trying for the outlay. Had seen it used on youtube and decided to use it on clear coat runs to level before block sanding. Like others say, important to let the clear to cure completely before using the blade. Works for me.
