Had same type previously so was surprised it was so very noisy, as if it was fitted wrong. Toyed with the idea of reassembling it but feared my Parkinson's would make things worse. After upending it, there was the sound of something rattling around - a bit of plastic, a bearing perhaps? Who knows. Then it suddenly went feather-quiet. As of right now, running perfectly and producing a nice breeze. (Some concern that it's defective and could go noisy or breakdown again.) Probably just bad luck.

Arrived one day early in perfect condition, well packed in a padded bag. Hub is brand new with no damage at all, came in the original packaging, and all three ports work perfectly. Only downside is the cable it comes with is really poor and the quality doesn't match that of the hub - this is not a problem as I have a much better cable to use it with. Postage costs were excellent as was dispatch time. Communication and service from seller was excellent and I will definitely buy from seller again!
