When Luke's aunt and uncle are murdered by the Empire's imperial stormtroopers and he mysteriously finds a distress message from Princess Leia in one of his androids, R2-D2 (Kenny Baker), he must set out to find Obi-Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness), a mysterious old hermit with incredible powers. On his journey, Luke is aided by the roguish, sarcastic mercenary Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and his towering furry sidekick Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) as they run into a host of perilous situations while trying to rescue the princess--and the entire galaxy. Considered the most morally and emotionally complex of the original Star Wars trilogy, THE EMPIRE STRIKE BACK continues creator George Lucas's epic saga where STAR WARS left off. The Rebel Forces--which include young adventurer Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), rogue pilot Han Solo (Harrison Ford), and the beautiful but seemingly humorless Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher)--have been successful in destroying the Evil Empire's Death Star.     I want so bad to grow a utras and have Lucas's Baby

    This is a visually stunning movie, Even today. This movie, released originally in 1977 was so far ahead of it's time that it's scary. George Lucas pionerred and created new filming and speacial effects tecnices that are still relivant and still used today. Without the pioneer efforts of this movie most of todays big box office hits wouldn't be possible. This film is fun and action pact, it spawned two sequals, 3 prequals, several made for tv movies and many many cartoon series. + hundreads of books, toys, lunch boxes, underwear, toothbrushed, dog holloween costumes and any other bizarr thing you can tink of... Star wars is one of the greatest movies ever and george lucas is a god!!!

    Best Movies Ever!

    I grew up watching these movies! But better than the recent one's that they went back and made. These 3 moives are now what is known as 4, 5,and 6 of the Star Wars Triligy. This certain series is what it looks like after they went back and added more special effects to it later. YOu can never be too old or too young to watch these! Some of the special effects they put it look weird and out of place, just so differant from the rawness of the first versions... but still quite good. If you like spaceships, heroism, and action you really want to try these out.

    Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition 1997 VHS Collection

    Anyone who loves Star Wars will like this Special Edition VHS set. It contains Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. This set also contains new footage, enhanced sound and effects. Plus behind the scenes footage on the making of the Special Edition, including an interview wth George Lucas. All are excellent viewing. I highly recommend this set to all Star Wars fans.
