The LEDs are in a parallel circuit, so creating a circuit anywhere along the strip will light all the LEDs. I found it hard to solder wires to them - I have since realised you can buy COB connectors. They have a backing you can peel to reveal the sticky surface. I’ve stuck them under my motorbike tank, wired them to the lights and they look awesome! TikTok ckhatton for a video demonstration.
