Working fine.
Bought these items for my Thorens TD160. The motor capacitor was a different value to the old capacitor as was the resistor. Nevertheless, they worked absolutely fine as a straight replacement and are as shown in the Thorens circuit diagram (although my motor ran backwards following the circuit diagram to the letter). The replacement 'pop' capacitor didn't cure the motor hum problem when the unit is switched off (quite a common problem) so I removed it totally. I don't get any popping when switching off the motor so will leave it out of the circuit.Bought these items for my Thorens TD160. Thorens repair kit
Got this repair kit as I was refurbing my td160 (built new plinth etc.) As it was in pieces, decided to put this new kit in as old caps were looking a little bloated, tested with an rpm gauge & it's only. 02 rpm out, excellent!
