Not too large for trimming long haired Chihuahuas and Yorkies.
These clippers are neither too heavy nor too noisy for small, nervous dogs, such as I have. My dogs have accepted these clippers from the start and the metal comb guides work so much better in their thin, fly-a-way hair than the usual plastic ones.

I have used the clippers on my pet and found them to be good quality. And they did not seem to make as much noise as my past clippers I had previously. And the attachment heads stay firmer in place as my other clippers they used to keep falling of which was a a nuisance when you are trying to keep your pet calm. Yes I am very pleased with my purchase.
