Works a treat. You can used these to build a unit which is switchable between a serial monitor and UPDI programmer. Great if you're programmng an ATTINY. Just requires a 470ohm resistor, a Schottky diode and double pole switch. Google Teddy Warner ftdi2updi for a good guide.
