The item was advertised as new and I paid for a new. However, the box had been opened, there were fingerprints on the screen and it was clear the item was not new (there was a mark at the back side). I cannot be bothered to send it back, since it works, but this should not be the case, as none can guarantee to me any defect that will appear or that I will notice later is not due to its previous use.
