    Fantastic quality product

    Bought this to replace a 4 year old Huawei HG633 TalkTalk router which kept dropping the download speed below the upload speed!!!. Extremely easy to set up. Up and running in less that 15 minutes. Almost Plug and Play - just had to enter the ISP and account log-in details. Automatically looked for any firmware/software updates as part of the process. Tested my wired Broadband speed and it went from around 23 Mbps (but often dropping) to around 35 Mbps as a minimum. - A 44% improvement. Now getting much more reliable WiFi throughout the house and garden. That's what I call a quality product.

    Decent Small Home Router or Cheap VDSL Modem

    The D6400 is pretty solid VDSL router that performs a good deal better than most stock ISP routers. It is unfortunately a discontinued product and therefore only available second hand but as of the time of writing it still functions fine. There are no additional firmware updates available either.

    Solid and reliable

    I bought this modem to replace the ADSL version (D6200) I had when my broadband converted to VDSL. So much better than the modems supplied by broadband suppliers. It has a good signal strength. Unlike cheaper modems the signal is constant so does not constantly dip-out. It would get a 5th star if the signal strength was a little better (I do still need a signal booster at the far end of my house).

    Excellent choice

    Easy installation, connected my usb HD to it with no problems. Too bad its only usb2 and not usb3. Its range is ok, Works great on VDSL2 connection.
