Takes the guesswork out of jam and marmalade making
I ordered this after discovering my old jam thermometer was 20 degrees out. No wonder I had setting problems! The Tala design clips to the side of the pan, has a liquid level mark and other marks for the setting temperature for jam and toffee. My first batch of marmalade was spot on. :-) It needs no batteries, looks very robust and is a tried and tested design. Very happy with the product and the price.
Works fine - used for marmalade and yogurt making so far. Checked the scale in boiling water - pretty well spot on. Sharp price too. Only had it a few weeks so we'll see how well it lasts but so far so good.

Great tool to assist in the jam making., much better than the smaller one I had. The thermometer is so easy to read as the numbers and words are larger. Very easy to handle. Rxcellent quality I thoroughly recommended.

Great thermometer
I use this predominantly for jam making and works a treat. Has got written on the frame the different setting points, hard ball, soft ball ECT. Perfect for deep frying. Got a clip so you can secure into position on your pan.
