"Dumbo" is an animated Walt Disney classic for children, conveying the messages about friendship, courage, acceptance, and hope. "Dumbo" features the story of a baby elephant, Jumbo Jr., and its best friend, Timothy the mouse. The baby elephant impresses everyone with its cute charms but soon everyone starts giving it the cold shoulder due to its large ears. Soon the baby elephant is left alone in the world until Timothy the mouse decides to become his manager and only friend. The elephant finds out that its long and oversized ears actually make it different and special, giving Jumbo Jr. the title of the first flying elephant in the world. The movie is an ideal movie for children with daring adventure, colorful characters, and award winning music. "Dumbo" also features sing-along songs, story book, and special animations.     A very warm and heart loving movie for all ages.

    This movie was my childhood favorite. At 37, of all the Walt Disney movies I've seen, Dumbo is still my all time favorite. It has a very special meaning that teaches people about being different and unconditional love. I highly recommend this movie.

    Back Story

    Walt Disney (the boss) was trying for prestige in making artistic Bambi and running into all kinds of snags. To get some quick cash, he got some of his guys to do a plain old cartoon - Dumbo. This worked. The guys had some fun and Dumbo made money. The disk is flawless.
