Terms and conditions of the sale
We cannot specify a delivery time on any parcel. Delivery is usually made between 8am & 6pm weekdays.
 
All parcels ordered before 4pm will be sent by us that same working day. 97% of our parcels are delivered the very next day. Sometimes, unfortunately couriers experience problems i.e road transport, weather or depot issues which is out of our control.
 
Please contact us on 0800 195 98 97 for product returns or possible faults. In the instance of any manufacturing faults we will replace the battery within 48 working hours and collect the old battery too. We cannot exchange a flat (discharged) battery, only faulty products. Your warranty is with us, we do not offer refunds. We only replace items in the rare event of a faulty product under warranty.
 
If you purchase a battery but then change your mind, we cancel your order at no cost as long as the parcel has not left our premises. If the parcel has left, then we would refund minus postage fees of £6.95.
 
In the instance of a warrantied product failing you must contact us. In most circumstances a replacement battery will be issued immediately and sent with a 24 hour courier. We also collect the faulty battery free of charge.
 
Our team will diagnose the fault over the phone or by email. We sometimes request the voltage and cca of the battery so we can condemn it. Our team has over 50 years of experience in batteries so please take their advice.
Before we can accept return of a faulty battery, you should have the battery VOLTS & CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) tested locally likes ATS, Quick fit or Halfords.
 
Our product warranties cover product replacement only i.e. we guarantee the product against physical failure for the duration of x years (usually 4) We will supply a replacement battery in the instance of product failure during that period.
 
EXCHANGE
If when you receive your product(s), you are not completely satisfied you may return the items to us, within seven days of exchange or refund. Returns will take approximately 5 working days for the process once the goods have arrived. Items must be in original packaging, in all original boxes, packaging materials, manuals blank warranty cards and all accessories and documents provided by the manufacturer.
 
If our labels are removed from the product – the warranty becomes void.
 
We strongly recommend that you fully insure your package that you are returning. We suggest the use of a carrier that can provide you with a proof of delivery.
 
All shipping back to Advanced Battery Supplies is paid for by the customer. We are unable to refund you postal fees.
 
Any product returned found not to be defective can be refunded within the time stated above and will be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover our administration costs. Goods found to be tampered with by the customer will not be replaced but returned at the customers expense.
 
If you are returning items for exchange please be aware that a second charge may apply.

Our product warranties cover product replacement only i.e. we guarantee the product against physical failure for the duration of x years (usually 4) We will supply a replacement battery in the instance of product failure during that period.
 
Machinery, Tractors, Taxi vehicles, Black Cabs using 643, 663, 644, 664 type commercial batteries are only guaranteed for 12 months due to extreme usage. Start Stop Taxi are given 3 years warranty with AGM battery types.
 
We do not accept product returns that are caused by vehicles with malfunctioning alternators** We also do not accept product returns from owners of vehicles that are driven for less than 30 miles per week. Where the vehicle is driven less than 30 miles per week the battery is not charged regularly enough to be considered normal operation. We would advise the regular use of a battery maintenance charger.
 
This includes Leisure Batteries such as those used in Motorhomes, Caravans, Boats etc. Where a leisure battery has been left uncharged for such a period of time as to cause the battery to sulphate.
 
We recommend Leisure Batteries should be kept above 12.10 volts, Your warranty will be void if the battery has been discharged below 10.60 volts (100% discharged).
 
Negligence on your part may be investigated if we doubt that your claim is genuine.

How does the guarantee work?
 
The list below outlines some battery issues that are not manufacturing defects and are not covered by the lifetime guarantee.
 
Overcharing. This can be caused by a fault in the vehicles charging system.
Sulphation. This can happen if the vehicle is stood for long periods without use. Its recommended to recharge the battery once a month if the vehicle is doing less than 3000 miles a year.
Misuse. Wear and tear from over tightening terminals or any other physical damage caused by misuse.
Incorrect Application. The battery must be used on a vehicle with an alternator and must be used for the vehicle with the given registration number only.
CANNOT BE USED ON TAXIS OR MACHINERY

Discounted or our end of line products can only be returned for repair no refunds of replacements will be made.
 
INCORRECT/DAMAGED GOODS
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive your products ordered. Please contact us. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Advanced Battery Supplies immediately, this will be given special priority and you can expect to receive the correct item within 72 hours. Any incorrect items received all delivery charges will be refunded back to you.

    Great replacement and upgrade from my existing Battery

    Purchased this for my ST Fiesta, as the original battery had failed. This had an increase of 70 cold cranking amps, but the battery was the same dimensions as the old lesser battery and fitted straight into the tray/enclosure. The car starts so much easier now, and this has also eliminated the problem of idle dipping when a high electrical load/demand is required. Very pleased.

    Won't hold charge overnight in cold weather. Faulty, worthless, refused to refund.

    Obviously faulty, stops holding charge in cold weather after just 6 months old. Have had to get on to my credit card company because Minofern Ltd/clickcarparts refuse to refund on the basis that they expect to be given a 'report' before they'll refund, despite that being a very clear infringement of consumer rights in the UK. Just look at the negative feedback over last 12 months.

    Great quality battery

    Does everything you would expect from a car battery plus 5 year warranty. Would expect many years of good service as I have used Yuasa batteries in alarm boxes and they have lasted more than 10 years. ps - the carrying handle is very useful in lifting it into place.

    Just what the doctor ordered

    Excellent Battery and price. My Bosch was only 4 years old but last 2 winters were problematic to say the least. The ccs (cold cranking amps) transpired to be the problem and eventually insufficient for my VW tdi which barely cranked after a freezing night. The cca on this battery are some 20% bigger and boy oh boy, can I tell the difference, even on relatively mild mornings.
