The sleeves have thumb holes and an internal flap so you can fully cover your hands if desired, plus the sleeves are slightly longer than usual so if you want to keep your hands warm by keeping them tucked inside they don't pull across the back. It does mean though that if your hands are out as normal there's a little bunching at the wrists. Feels awesome so I bought a second one.
