Bait and switch
I have two Canaries and I've been a user for more than a year (purchased elsewhere). I loved this product until just recently September 2017, when Canary started downgrading the features of this device to get people to switch to their expensive subscription plans. Its definitely not a cheap device and now the company is pulling a bait and switch game, I'm very disappointed! Unless you pay the subscription fee your recordings are now almost useless - limited to 10 second clips. Night mode has also been crippled. The device was a good deal before, its not any longer.
