Replacement battery for fob on keyless-entry car.
Item was purchased as replacement power source for my car key fob. My current car uses keyless entry (which has its advantages). The downside is that this technology drains key fob batteries far quicker than anything I have experienced with my previous cars which all used a simple key coupled with remote central locking. The unbranded battery that came included inside my car fob lasted less than 6 months before going flat. This replacement Energizer CR1632 has lasted for more 12 months and is still going strong. Replacement was easy; 60 seconds using just a small screwdriver. Highly recommended this brand if you own a car with key-less entry and want to avoid problems associated with locking/unlocking doors and engine starts, attributed to high key-fob battery drain.Item was purchased as replacement power source for my car key fob. These are great batteries, once you've got them out of the packets.! I'll use scissors next time as trying to push them through the packaging is very difficult... I needed a set of 4 for my application and they are just fine.
