The aspect of the battery installation/connection could have been explicitly stated; this appeared nowhere in the manual. Aside from this and the weight of the product, it was a great purchase! My 10 year-old who it was bought for immediately loved his wheelchair and easily learned to manipulate the joystick and drive about like a pro! We love it!
