    Old and dried out

    The filter was all dry and crumbly, not sure what happen to it. the box looked quite old and rough. the filter was in a sealed package but it seemed dry rotted, as soon as I open the filter there was black crumbs and grit all over the counter, when you moved it around it was falling all over. I never had this issue with previous filters. I can not use this filter as I don't want a nasty mess in my air purifier or the floor.
