    Surprising quality for price

    At this price I wasn't expecting too much but I found item to be very usable although I found it took a bit of adjustment to stop it falling from my eye socket or being at wrong angle but I put that down more to my inexperience rather than the item construction and soon got used to it with a little practice,I like the aluminium construction and I'm sure it would survive being dropped without any damage,a closer inspection of the optics made me slightly disappointed as it looks more like plastic rather than the glass I was hoping for but having said that the magnification is amazing and image is very clear with no real noticeable distortion but when cleaning I'll be more careful to avoid scratching,in summary I'd say a good bargain and still I'm not 100% sure the lens is plastic as ...

    OK for the price

    Its aluminium so its light, sits on the eye comfortably. In general does the job. However, having compared this to a microscope eye piece lens (Zeiss x10) this is NOT 10x its less, not sure by how much but might be a 7x at best? But for the price is OK.

    Superb bargain.

    I was a bit sceptical of this being any use after buying another type which had a plastic lens which had a lot of deformities when trying to examine objects closely. The bargain price made me give this a go and I’m pleased to say it is crystal clear and well made with a comfortable fit.

    Exceptional Value

    I gave mine to my brother who works in the timber preservation industry. He finds it invaluable for making preliminary identification of types of timber infection. Easily carried,east to use.
