Shifter lever was very hard to slide on. Almost gave up. Would have but my original lever was in bad shape. Anyway, some oil and a few good whacks with a hammer and it finally slid into place. It will take some kind of puller to get it off. Don't know if there was something wrong with my shifter shaft or if the lever was machined poorly. Hence the positive review.
