    Hours of Great Entertainment

    I had watched a few episodes of Longmire on Netflix and really enjoyed them, so I decided to shop for the dvds. This offer was by far the best. I got the first three complete seasons of the series as a set for a very reasonable price. They were brand new, packaged securely and the shipping was very reasonable and I received them quickly. If you like a dramatic series that has a great cast and great stories you would love this series.

    It's ok... I have read the books and I liked them much better... Characters are off, engaging traits omitted and I am ok with the stories being different, but to me they are not as good. If you have not read the books it may not be a c o n c e r n.

    Just the best.

    Back to a time when T.V. was pleasant entertainment! Scripts are engaging without focusing on profanity, sex or violence. Characters are multi-faceted and well developed. Stories are multi-layered and engrossing. I look forward to each next program in the series. In today's market, it's difficult to find one program per season that hits that benchmark. I highly recommend LONGMIRE.

    Great characters - beautiful setting

    Longmire is a great series. It's a crime show, but unlike the bulk of them, the setting is a small town, the surrounding rural area and the nearby Cheyenne reservation. The scenery is lovely. The stories are interesting and the main characters are very likable except of course a certain Deputy who shall remain nameless (Branch). I really enjoy the Native American actors in the show, especially Zahn Mc Clarnon. Lou Diamond Phillips plays Walt Longmire's best friend, Henry, who is a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, wisdom and loyalty. Everyone needs a friend like Henry Standing Bear.

    refreshing change

    It's great to see a show that doesn't follow the same formula of most Drama, law enforcement shows. Instead of a team of forensic scientists and FBI agents, we get to see a down to earth sheriff and his deputies solve crime in Wyoming. I enjoy all the characters but think Lou Diamond Phillips is particularly good as the loyal friend to the Sheriff. I'm currently watching season three and already regretting that the show only runs for six seasons.
