    Reminder of Germany, from a time when there were two.

    Another purchase to rebuild a lost record collection, at old money prices. This Europop synth of the Eighties was a surprise gem I brought back from Germany, having spent my 21st amongst strangers, at a warehouse-sized nightclub outside Hamburg, full of lasers mapping 3D shapes within smoke-machine clouds. The cover artwork is a little different for the original German version I remember. Hits include "Big In Japan" and the haunting sentiment of "Forever Young", one of my all-time favourite songs, taking on a new resonance, 35 years (to the day) later!

    Forever Young

    It was amazing to hear this Alphaville album again; that I once had on a copied tape around 3 decades ago! I was surprised how many of the lyrics I remembered. Listening to the album again and again like I did back in the 80's gave me a real nostalgic feeling. It brought back wonderful memories of carefree times when I thought I'd be "Forever Young"!! A must for all electro/80's fans.

    Total value for money

    I had big in japan on twelve inch record back in the 80's, but never bought their debut what a mistake, Forever young is a brilliant album full of catchy pop songs, a pleasant surprise and yes they are still going making great records like so many bands from the 80's.

    I love the 8os

    The Band Alphaville produced some great tunes in the 8os, and still do today. The CD had all their classic 80s hits, and the quality of the recordings were top notch. If you love that era, Alphaville ticks all the boxes.

    80's masterpiece

    Takes you back this album way back to a place and time that AHA have just retired from so these guys now take centre stage, the feel good factor is in every track on this album. summer rain, sounds like a melody, forever young Marian and crew are still going strong and his new album is on my hit list. Keep up the good works lads! Great Album to add to your discs that youll keep listening to selection!
