    A must-have for quilters

    This book is a great one to have when you are dreaming up designs for your next quilt top. It has examples of the same quilt top quilted a number of different ways. A real eye-opener! In addition, there are a lot of well-written instructions for quilting. The author really knows her stuff.

    Wrong title entirely.

    When I bought this, I was expecting a book about how to quilt, how to design a pattern that fits the quilt,etc. I didn't need another book of quilt patterns--I already have plenty of those! There was a good bit of general information about borders here, but what about the REST of the quilt? The author is apparently a machine quilter, not that there is anything wrong with that--it's just not a terribly helpful point of view for a hand quilter like me. So, no, this book was not at all helpful to me.

    Great advice on Quilting

    This is my "go-to" book for quilting ideas. Lee Cleland shows you how different quilting affects the end result. There are lots of new ideas and ways of quilting since this book has been published, but I think this book presents a way of understanding quilting that may not be in other books
