Does What It Says On The....er...Plastic Bottle!
As with all jobs, really, preparation is key. If you properly brush off and use suitable foam wash thoroughly to clean your soft-top first, this stuff will give a good finish with very effective water repellent properties that last. I apply generously using a 1.5 - 2" paint brush. Avoiding run off can be tricky in parts, but just wipe any off car paint work quickly with damp cloth. Don't stint or apply thinly as it won't work properly - buy a good quantity in the first instance as any 'extra' can be stored ready for next treatment.As with all jobs, really, preparation is key. Not as good as fabsil
Not as good as Fabsil. Half a Litre was only just enough to cover a beetle soft top, 2 days after it rained and the water wasnt repelling into balls and running off. At about twice the price of Fabsil I wouldnt buy it again. Next time i will use Fabsil

Why sell it in small bottles
The product is excellent, I think they should make more of the fact that you wipe the XS off straight away, as it's quite difficult to remove when it's dry. My main beef is that it took two bottles to do the roof of my beetle and it would've been a lot more useful if one bottle possibly a larger bottle had been supplied. I had to wait till the next day to get another and was worried that the finish might be different. Great waterproof product
Never having previously used any kind of waterproof product and just used a cover on my car I thought I would give this a try. After one coat I wasn't sure would be working but next day it rained and seems to be working very very well. I tried to apply second coat and wasn't able to as very waterproof and this product just slid off so I've not bothered with another coat. This stuff is amazing... my canvas roof was like a teabag before I used this.. once on (easy to apply) my roof stood up to the heaviest of down pores.. I would highly recommend this for anyone wishing to waterproof their canvas roof...
