    Item was listed as a Blu-Ray movie disc and I was only sent a special features disc. The item was not listed as a special features disc. Why would anyone even need this. I don’t believe anyone would do something like this unless they’re trying to be purposely deceptive. I do not recommend buying from this seller, there’s a possibility they may send you useless garbage like they sent me.

    Seller literally put the disc in a paper bag and sent it with no protection having it bounce around the entire way to my mailbox. Would not recommend.

    Very well researched

    It is a wonderfully produced movie. I think the people who made it did a great job of researching Walt Disney. It was insightful and redeeming as Disney could have just ditched the whole project (as bad as he and his staff were treated by the author) but he stuck with it and gave us a wonderful film. I remember our mother and our aunt taking my sister and I to the theater to see it - great memory, as were ALL Disney films we saw as children!!!

    Hanks and Thompson Are Fantastic!

    I loved this film! As a huge Walt Disney and Mary Poppins fan, I was captivated by this true story of how that beloved film was brought to the big screen. Hanks and Thompson are fantastic in their roles of Walt Disney and P.L. Travers, respectively. It was fascinating to see the interaction of these two characters, specifically, but with the Sherman Brothers (Jason Schwartzman and B.J. Novak), who composed the music for many of Disney's films, Don DaGradi (Bradley Whitford), who wrote the script, and Ralph (Paul Giamatti), who served as Travers' personal chauffeur. Interspersed with this main story, we are also treated to flashbacks of Travers' difficult childhood in Allora, Queensland, Australia, and the true inspiration behind Mary Poppins.     Wonderful film that takes you behind the scenes of the story of Mary Poppins. Excellent cast and great production values. Disney makes some of the best BDs in the business. If you love Mary Poppins you're going to love this story too.

    Surprisingly good!

    A surprisingly good movie. I did not expect to like this...I had not seen Mary Poppins prior to seeing Saving Mr. Banks (but I did watch it afterwards). I like to think that Walt Disney was at a least like the way he was presented by Tom Hanks. Wonderful acting from top to bottom....the cast was first rate. The scene "Let's go fly a kite" is memorable.

    Just the right amount of humor to balance the trauma with the cure. How true is any of it? It doesn't matter. The tale here told is very worthy of acclaim. Touching, upsetting, uncomfortable...however you take it, this film will make you feel things.
