An oversize book of black and white photos by Sally Larsen showing Japanese youths wearing clothing with phrases in Japlish -- a term used in Tokyo to describe Euro-American expressions found in Japanese newspapers. The English is sometimes misspelled and always has eccentric phrasing. Larsen believes that Japlish is becoming a new language that is being used by Japanese young people to cope with their shared world view and to express their fascination with foreign cultures.
