    Still the best American band ever!

    I have finally replaced my Eagles CD collection that was stolen from me by the ex-wife as she moved out to... well, this isn't the place for that commentary! Anyway, I'm reviewing this one because it was the Eagles release of my senior year, and it is just as great now as it was then. The price on Ebay is fantastic, too.

    ONE OF THESE NIGHTS, THE EAGLES

    IMHO, one of the best rock albums of the 70s. Joe Walsh's "hot guitar", Henley and Frey's lyrics, not over-produced, tight vocal harmonies, . . . super stuff, if this type of "Southern California Rock" is of your liking. Hollywood Waltz is a rather under-appreciated song, but captures the "gestalt" of the era (yes, I said "gestalt"). Nice to have a new copy of an old fav.
